If a company thinks you’re worth a few million to be the face of their company they should be able to pay or do whatever they feel neccessary to keep or get you. Hanes, Nike, Ball Park, Wheaties, Upper Deck and McDonalds made soo much money off Michael Jordan because of his talents. The amount of profit dollars are endless when a major superstar decides to represent your company.

Strong point my good friend. But do you think that perhaps the quality of some products are compromised because so much money is spent on advertising the product (paying the endorser’s salary) rather than investing in high quality products?

Either way you have a strong point.
